124th MAIFEST BEGINS THIS WEEK

The 124TH Maifest weekend is coming this week, with fun, family and festivities that celebrate Brenham’s German Heritage.

The Maifest is one of the oldest community celebrations  in Texas, with its origins in the late 19th century.  Maifest President Heather Thielemann says the festival has lasted so long because of the values it represents and the joy it brings to the community.
