24-year old Kenneth Wayne Connor of College Station was found in the wooded area around Straub and Wellborn roads just before 4 p.m. Friday afternoon.

He was caught after he abandoned the vehicle he allegedly used as a getaway vehicle in both incidents.

Connor is charged with one count of aggravated kidnapping, a first-degree felony punishable by up to life in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and additional charges, including burglary of an apartment on Southwest Parkway and another kidnapping charge, may be filed.

Connor was arrested on two warrants Friday, one for the kidnapping charge and the other for a motion to revoke his probation for criminally negligent homicide in 2012.

The first incident Friday happened just after 6 a.m. while a 36-year-old woman was jogging on the 3600 block of Vienna Drive.

According to police, Connor attacked a second woman at her apartment on the 500 block of Southwest Parkway about 12:45 p.m.

Bail had not been set late Friday for Connor, who remained in the Brazos County Jail.
