2014 Maifest Royalty Announced

  

   It was a beautiful, sunny day Sunday at the Dr. Bobbie Dietriech Memorial Amphitheatre when the 2014 Maifest Royalty was announced.  Dr. Heather Thielemann introduced the young men and women who will reign over the Maifest courts the first weekend in May. 

   Friday, May 2nd will be the Junior Coronation and this years Junior Maifest King is Jackson Edward Van Dyke the son of Jarvis and Christy Van Dyke. The Junior Queen is Piper Mccall Puckett the daughter of Stephen and Lauri Puckett. They will reign over the court of "Maifest Mystery Madness". 

   Saturday, May 3rd will be this years Senior Coronation. The Senior King is Caleb Scott Rodenbeck the son of David and Kelly Rodenbeck. The Senior Queen is Caroline Rosemary Webb the daughter of Kirk and Shannon Webb. They will reign over the court of "Celebrations across Texas". 

There will be plenty of fun for everyone as Maifest will once again be three days this year, Friday through Sunday, May 2-4th.  German music and food, a German church service on Sunday, live music with Cory Morrow and William Clark Green, plus the Maifest Coronations, parade on Saturday and much more awaits everyone for this celebration of German heritage.
