ARABELLA MAITLAND WINS AGAIN

Arabella Maitland of Brenham,won the Sportman Jr. Dragster race at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Tx on Saturday August 2nd. 

Maitland had a reaction time of 0.058 seconds and ran 9.000 on a 8.96 dial at 69.93 MPH to defeat Logan Abernathy of Willis, Tx.  

Maitland was also a semifinalist in Sunday's Sportman Jr. Dragster race.  Arabella had a streak of 15 rounds won before her loss in the semi final round on Sunday.

Arabella is a distinguished honor roll student at Brenham Middle School.  She will be entering the 6th grade in the fall.  Arabella is the daughter of Jeff and Marla Maitland of Brenham, and the granddaughter of George Rhodes of Brenham, and Gary and Janet Maitland of Flagler Beach, Fl.
