AUSTIN COUNTY ELECTION CANVASS
This is the day for the Austin County Commissioners to canvass the election results of two weeks ago.
Austin County Judge Carolyn Bilski says the turnout was very light on November 5th, when voters approved nine amendments to the state constitution.
Judge Bilski says voters in her county voted somewhat differently from the rest of the state.
Austin County along with Washington County need to canvass the election today because the time window for the canvass has been shortened.
