AUSTIN TEACHER ACCUSED OF ASSAULTING KINDERGARTENER

An Austin elementary school teacher has been charged with sexually assaulting a 6-year-old kindergarten student.
The Austin school district has fired 33-year-old Alfredo Andrade-Gaytan.
The Sunday Austin American-Statesman reports that Andrade-Gaytan taught a bilingual kindergarten class at a central Austin elementary school.
According to an arrest affidavit, Andrade-Gaytan kept a 6-year-old girl in the classroom while the remainder of the class went to recess. The girl told a parent she had been assaulted. Investigators say she was taken to a hospital, and DNA evidence supported her claim.
Andrade-Gaytan remains in the Travis County Jail en lieu of $50,000 bail.
Andrade-Gaytan had taught in the school district since 2009.
This man used to be one of the bilingual teachers at the Brenham middle school when I attended about 10 years ago. I was even in his class. Who would of known he had a sick mind like that!
