BFD FISH FRY

  

Friday will be time for the annual Brenham Fire Department Fish Fry at the Fireman’s Training Center.

City Fire Chief Ricky Boeker says you can get all the fried fish you can eat, plus have a time to get together with old and new friends for a friendly get together.

Boeker says the fish fry is from 5:30 to 7:30m at the Fireman’s Training Center.  Tickets are $10 in advance and $11 at the door.  You can get your tickets at the Brenham Fire Department or from any firefighter.

There is a silent auction with lots of great items such as barbecue pits and dinners at Must Be Heaven.

Boeker says the Brenham Fire Department is mostly a volunteer department and they do get some help with funding from the Brenham City Council.  Nonetheless, they rely heavily on community support.
