BIG CATCHES AT KID FISH

Hundreds of young people gathered at the Blue Bell Aquatic Center Saturday for the 8th annual Kid Fish.

They put their poles in the fresh water put into the Leisure Pool Saturday morning in hopes of landing some pretty large catfish.  The catch and release came first, followed by the youngsters who wanted to take their fish home for dinner.

The youngster also learned how to fish and about staying away from drugs.  They also help feed the hungry by donating some canned goods for Bread Partners.

The swimming water at the Blue Bell Aquatic Center was drained out Saturday to be replaced by non-chlorinated fresh water for the catfish.  The young people  won recognition for catching the biggest fish.
