BLUE RIBBON TYING TO COMEMORATE CHILD ABUSE VICTIMS

  

Local law enforcement agencies will join with county and regional social service agencies Wednesday in front of the Washington County Courthouse to tie blue ribbons on a tree.  This will commemorate the victims of child abuse.  A short reception will follow the ribbing tying ceremony in the Courthouse Annex.

The ceremony is part of a month long campaign to recognize the month of April as Child Abuse Prevention Month.  The ribbon tying ceremony is at 11am Wednesday morning.
