BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON FAMILY VIOLENCE WARRANT
A Brenham man faces family violence charges after his arrest on an outstanding warrant late Sunday night.
Police were called out to the 600 block of Wilkins to a disturbance.
Cpl. Justin Schiller says one man wanted to press charges against another after the suspect had punched his car with his fist during an argument.
The suspect was identified at 25-year Cory Terrell Thomas of Brenham.
Schiller then found out that Thomas had a warrant out for his arrest from Colorado County for Assault – Family violence – impeding breathing, which is a third-degree felony.
Thomas was taken into custody and is awaiting transfer to Colorado County.
