BRENHAM MAN KILLED IN MATAGORDA COUNTY

  

A Brenham man was killed in a traffic accident in Matagorda County, near Palacios in the early evening hours Friday.

The body of Brian Keith Chambers was taken to the Galveston County Medical Examiners office for an autopsy Friday. 

Several sources, including the Palacios Beacon Light newspaper, the Galveston County Medical Examiners Office, and the Matagorda County Sheriff’s office, say Chambers left the road while traveling on the bridge over the Tres-Palacios River  and dove into the water.   This was about 20 miles outside of Palacios.    The investigation into the death continues.
