BRENHAM PD INVESTIGATES BURGLARY/VANDALISM/THEFT

  

Brenham Police are investigating a case of criminal mischief and a case of an attempted burglary.

Two businesses in the 2700 block of South Market report that someone overnight Wednesday or Thursday morning cut several chains and fences around their property.

Nothing was reported taken.

Thursday morning, a local woman says someone vandalized her car.

The woman says she went into a store in the 2300 block of South Market, and when she came out someone had scraped her 2013 Dodge Durango with a key.

Police say they have no suspects at this time.

A Brenham woman says her wallet was stolen while she was shopping at a local supermarket.

The woman tells Brenham Police that she was in the local HEB, Thursday afternoon between 1:00-and-2:00.

While her back was turned, she says someone took her wallet out of her purse.  The wallet contained $100 cash, along with her credit cards and drivers license.

The police are continuing their investigation.
