BRENHAM POLICE INVESTIGATE FOUR RECENT BURGLARIES

  

Brenham Police are searching for a burglar, who was caught breaking into the victim’s vehicle.

Police were called out just before 1:45 this (Tuesday) morning to the 1400 block of Allyne Drive.

The caller told police she’d caught someone going through her vehicle that was parked in her garage.

The woman says she’d opened the garage door to get something and saw the driver’s side door of her vehicle open, and the suspect looking at her.

The suspect, described as a young black male about 5’7” and slender build, fled when the woman screamed.

The caller says the only thing that appears to be missing is $100 taken from her wallet which was still in her vehicle.

 

Brenham Police are looking for two suspects in a brazen daylight theft of a bicycle from a local home.

Officers were called to the 1300 block of Tom Dee Street around 8:30 last (Monday) night.

A man and his wife said they were inside their home when she saw two men walking very close to their home with one riding a bicycle.

The woman immediately went to the garage discovered that their son’s bike, which he’d recently purchased, was missing.

The stolen bike is a black Trek model.

The caller also says while searching their yard he discovered an old bike that didn’t belong to him.

 

A Brenham woman says her TV was stolen in a weekend burglary.

Police were called to the 1900 block of Northview Circle, where a woman says sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning, someone took a 60” flat screen television from her home.

The victim says she had left the back door unlocked.

The TV is valued at about $2,000.

 

 

An air conditioner and video game system are missing after a break in at a Brenham home.

Monday afternoon at about 2:00, police were called to the 900 block of Gay Hill Street where a man says he returned home to find that someone had broken into his home.

Take were a window AC unit and a PlayStation 3.

The air conditioning unit was valued at $100 and the video game console at $400.

The victim said he may have forgotten to lock his back door.
