BRYAN MAN SENTENCED FOR LOCAL THEFT

  

London-Deavilla-Rogers verticalA Bryan man has been sentenced to four years in prison after pleading guilty to felony theft charges in 21st District Court this week.

56-year old Leecester London was arrested by Brenham Police in March after about $5000 in jewelry came up missing from a local residence where he had done some plumbing work.

Authorities recovered the jewelry from several area pawn shops which then led to London’s arrest.

Also in District Court this week, Judge Carson Campbell revoked the probations for two Brenham residents in separate cases.

33-year old Omar Soto Deavila was sentenced to two years behind bars after his probation was revoked for a 2007 conviction for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  He was also fined $1210.

The probation was also revoked for 31-year old Tiffany Lashae Rogers from a 2008 conviction for Injury to a Disabled Individual.  Rogers was also fined $3300.

22-year old Yuki Gardener of Jacksonville was placed on four years probation after pleading guilty to Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Gardener was also fined $1000 and ordered to perform 150 hours of community service.
