BRYAN PD SEEKS HELP IN IDENTIFYING ROBBERY SUSPECT

  

The Bryan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in the Walgreen’s Robbery which occurred on January 28th.

Although a face is not visible, authorities are hoping someone will recognize the clothing and or mannerisms of the suspect.

ORIGINAL POLICE REPORT:
On January 28, 2014 at 1:30pm Bryan Officers responded to the Walgreens located at 2350 Boonville Rd. for an Aggravated Robbery that had just occurred.  The suspect, described as a light skinned male of average height with a thin build wearing a maroon hoodie and dark athletic pants, walked into the store to the pharmacy area. The suspect had his face covered during the robbery.  He also displayed a knife and gave the employee a note indicating a bomb was in the store and would detonate if police responded.  The suspect demanded narcotics and fled the scene in a vehicle (unknown description) toward North Earl Rudder Freeway on Austin’s Colony Pkwy.  Police responded to the store, evacuated the building, and searched for explosive devises.  There were no explosive devices found and no one was injured during the robbery.  At this time the case has been turned over to the Criminal Investigation Division
