“There were good numbers, it just wasn’t very crisp and clean,” Blinn (13-0) coach Erin Mellinger said. “We did good things, we just need to work on being focused for longer periods of time.”

The Buccaneers will be back in Brenham Friday for the first day of the Blinn Invitational Tournament. The Bucs face 15th-ranked Hill College at 1 p.m. and eighth-ranked Salt Lake Community College at 7 p.m. Then on Saturday, Blinn faces fifth-ranked Tyler Junior College at 1 p.m. and ninth-ranked Hillsborough Community College at 7 p.m.
