CONGRESSMAN MCCAUL THANKFUL FOR ACA DELAY

District 10 U.S. Congressman Michael McCaul says he has something to be thankful for on this day of giving thanks.

The local congressional representative says the announcement from the White House of a one-year delay of online enrollment for small businesses looking to purchase health insurance coverage through the Affordable Care Act is a ‘blessing.’

Congressman McCaul has always opposed the law under any circumstances but says the delay means they have avoided the ‘crushing weight of penalties and regulations’ under the Act, at least for a year.  He says the ‘much anticipated rollout has turned into a roll up that he says the president tried to hide under in the cover of the holiday season..’

Congressman McCaul says the president should now give the rest of the America the same reason to give thanks by the delaying the individual mandate.
