CORNER STORE HOLDS RIBBON CUTTING

  

The new Corner Store in Chappell Hill held it’s Grand Opening this morning.  At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Pete Linton, regional vice president for Corner Store, presented the Volunteer Services Council of Brenham with a check for $5,000 to show the company’s commitment to the community.  The Volunteer Services Council  provides art classes, entertainment, recreation and other enrichments to the Brenham State Supported Living Center, home to about 300 adults and children with developmental and intellectual disabilities.  The new Corner Store features indoor dining, an ATM, a beer cave, and 11 gasoline dispensers. Richard Hoyuela will serve as store manager.  The store is located at the intersection of Highway 290 and FM 1155.
