COUNTERFEIT BILL REPORTED TO POLICE

  

A forged $20 bill was passed yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon at the Brenham Jack in the Box.  Brenham police were dispatched there just before 5 yesterday afternoon when the drive through attendant reported that she was handed a $20 bill and when she checked it under ultraviolet light, it did not have the watermark.

When she turned to inform the driver, they drove off.  The Brenham Police Department reminds everyone to be aware that there have been several reports of counterfeit bills in the area recently.
