COUNTY JUDGE WARNS OF JURY DUTY SCAM
Washington County Judge John Brieden says there is a scam going around that could damage your computer or steal your identity right before Christmas.
Judge Brieden says he has received several calls from people saying they have received emails for jury service complete with some attachments. He says that is not how it is done in Washington County, and if anyone opens these attachments they could endanger their computer and themselves.
the concerned individuals who brought this concern to his attention. He says if you get such an email report it, but don’t open the attachments.

I received one of these emails Monday after I’d read this article. It did seem legitimate.
