FAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPT. RECOVERS STOLEN ITEMS

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department reports that after a month long investigation, two suspects have been identified in a Burglary of a Building case.

In June, a resident on Valenta Road in Fayette County reported that several items were stolen from their storage shed.  They were able to provide investigators with the serial numbers of the stolen items.  The items were later located in an Austin pawn shop.  Two subjects were identified and warrants issued for their arrest.  They are 39 year old Darren Dubose and 24 year old Daniele Mott, both of Schulenburg.

Darren Dubose is currently in the Fayette County Jail under a $10,000 bond on the charge of Burglary of a Building.  Daniele Mott has not been apprehended and has an active warrant for his arrest.

Several other stolen items were recovered from the pawn shop and the Fayette County Sheriff’s office is asking that anyone having a burglary in the Flatonia or Schulenburg area in the last few months contact the Sheriff’s Investigator’s Office to identify their stolen property.
