FIRST COLD SNAP OF THE YEAR TO BRING TEMPS DOWN

  

This year’s  first real cold snap is coming to the Brazos Valley with Washington,  Burleson, Grimes,  Austin,  and Lee counties expecting overnight lows tonight (Tuesday) in the lower to mid-30s. 

Much of the northern parts of the Brazos Valley, including Milam, Robertson and Leon counties are under a freeze warning tonight (Tuesday) Madison, Houston and Trinity counties are under a freeze watch overnight Tuesday.

The National Weather Service reports the first major cold front of the season is bringing consistently strong winds throughout the day.  The high temperature for Brenham and Washington County is expected to be in the low 60s.
