Wednesday marked the first full day of activities at the Washington County Fair—highlighted by a full schedule of livestock judging.

The judging for the steer show gets underway at 4:00.

All the top finishers qualify for tomorrow’s Junior Livestock Auction that begins at 2:00 and can be heard live on KWHI and www.kwhi.com.

Tonight’s events begin with the opening of the Heart of American Carnival at 6:00.

Also last night, the Little Mr. and Miss were crowned.  This year’s Little Miss is Lilly Ann Kunkel and the Little Mr. is Sterling Scheffer.

Today is also Senior Citizen’s Day at the Fair, with lunch served to all seniors at 11:00.

The Heart of America Carnival opens at 6:00.

The CPRA Rodeo gets underway at 7:30, with a Wild Steer Saddling contest during the Rodeo.

Entertainment gets underway tonight at 8:30 with a trio of Texas bands, including: Eleven Hundred Springs, The Tejas Brothers and Two Tons of Steel.

The Texas Fallen Heroes Memorial Wall, operated by Rolling Thunder, will be on display through Saturday, just inside the fair’s front gates.

The memorial wall is an ongoing mission dedicated to men and women who have died in combat.

The exhibit is being sponsored locally by Brenham Memorial Chapel. It will be operated by Rolling Thunder Chapter 2 of Houston.
