LCRA KEEPING EYE ON COLORADO RIVER
Officials with Lower Colorado River Authority say they’re keeping an eye on the river as the rains continue to fall.
A spokesperson for the Authority says that so far they have received no reports of any flooding along the river.
The peak rainfall along the Colorado was 8-inches reported in Columbus where I-10 meets Highway-71.
Reports are that the level at the East Bridge in Columbus is at 22’ 9”.
LCRA officials say they will be closely monitoring the river this evening and throughout the next several days.
