LOCAL MAN’S DOG KILLED–POLICE INVESTIGATING
Brenham Police are investing an apparent case animal cruelty.
Officer Heather Sowders was called out Tuesday night, just before 7:00, to the 800 block of Burch St.
A man says he had heard a loud bang and went outside to discover his dog had been killed.
The owner said the dog was usually inside but had been let outside in the back yard which had a door into the garage.
The caller said he heard a large crash in the garage and went to investigate and saw the dog laying dead in the garage.
Police continue to investigate.
