LUEDTKE RUNNING FOR JP4

There is another candidate vying to become the next Precinct Four Washington County Justice of the Peace.

Robin Luedtke announced her candidacy for the position in the Republican Primary set for next March.  Attorney Bill Kendal announced he was running for the seat in August.

No Democrats have announced and whoever wins will succeed longtime JP 4 James McCune.

Luedtke released a statement saying she was guided by family values, moral principles and a sense of community.  She continued by saying she was active in many community activities and capacities since her family moved to Washington County more than 25 years ago.

‘Luedtke has served on the Burton School Board and on the Washington County Fair Sales Committee.  She has been active in community youth participation in the Fair, along with many other community activities and events.

Luedtke graduated from Blinn College summa cum laude with an associate degree in criminal justice.  She also served a 200 hour internship with the retiring JP4 James McCune.

She and her husband Terry, began J and J Packing in 1997.
