MAN DEAD IN BRAZOS CO. COLLISION
One person is dead and six others hospitalized after a crash Sunday afternoon on Highway 21.
DPS was called to the scene around 3:40 Sunday afternoon when a Dodge pickup truck with three occupants was pulling into the Brazos County Cowboy Church from Highway 21 when another pickup rear-ended the black Dodge, killing a passenger in the black Dodge.
Authorities say a 45-year old man from El Salvador was killed in the crash. At least one victim was air transported by helicopter and remains in critical condition.
The driver of the second pickup, a 16-year old from Jewett, was cited for failure to control speed.
The names of those involved have not yet been released.
