MAN KILLED WHEN HE HIT PARKED TRUCK

  

A 77-year old Anderson man was killed when he slammed into the rear of a truck pulling a trailer of ahy in Grimes County Wednesday morning.

Reports from the Texas Department of Public Safety say that Frankie Schelski of Anderson was driving southbound on FM 3090 near Anderson at about 8:30 yesterday (Wednesday) morning, when he struck the rear of a 1996 International tractor trailer. Schelski was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bryan where he died about an hour later. The DPS reports say the 18-wheeler was parked on the side of the road with its flashers on, when Schelski rammed into the vehicle.  The investigation continues.
