MCCAUL OPENS BOSTON MARATHON BOMBING HEARINGS

District 10 U.S. Congressman Michael McCaul says it’s time to remember the anniversary of the Boston Marathon Bombings and the victims.

McCaul, who represents Brenham and Washington County in the U.S. House of Representatives is the Chair of the House Homeland Security Committee.  He made his comments to open hearings on the bombings Wednesday.

McCaul said in the middle of the chaos were people who showed bravery of people who ran towards the danger instead of away, in order to help the victims.

McCaul also said there were several ‘red flags’ and warnings that were missed preceding the bombing.  He said for instance, that one of perpetrators was on the radar of the FBI.
