MONTGOMERY CO. EXPLOSION INJURES THREE

  

Three people are in critical condition after an explosion early this (Tuesday) morning in Montgomery County.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said the explosion leveled a one-story home in Willis sometime before 5 a.m.

Two Life Flight helicopters were called to the scene and transported patients to the hospital around 6 a.m.

Authorities say three people are listed in critical condition.

Witnesses say two of the victims were thrown from the explosion while a third person crawled out of the rubble.

The debris field extends about 600 feet from the blast site.

Witnesses say the explosion was heard and felt several miles away.

Officials are trying to determine the cause of the explosion.
