MONTGOMERY COUNTY FATAL ROBBERY

  

Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for two men who fatally shot a store clerk during a robbery east of Conroe.

The shooting was reported at 9:30pm Monday at the Shell Convenience Store on Highway 105 East. 

Sheriff’s deputies report there were customers were inside and outside the store when the two men approached and held up the clerk at gunpoint.  The men allegedly shot the clerk and then fled before the deputies arrived.

The name of the victim has not been released.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigatiors, and representatives from the Montgomery County District Attorney’s office  are involved in the investigation.
