OAK HILL ACRES APPROVES BONDS

  

Voters in the Oak Hill Acres Fresh Water Supply District strongly supported a half million dollar bond issue in Tuesday’s election.  There was just one box in this election.  There were 55 votes in favor of the bond issue and 13 opposed.  Washington County Clerk Beth Rothermel said that was a 23 percent turnout.

The bonds will be to repair and replace the water and waste water facilities.  The bonds can also be used to re-fund outstanding bonds.
