POLICE INVESTIGATE ANOTHER STORE BREAK IN

  

Brenham police are investigating a break in at the Crossroads store at 1900 South Market Street.  At 1:45 Tuesday morning police responded to an alarm at the store.  When they arrived, they found the front door ajar and the ATM inside the store had been damaged, but it did not appear that the burglars removed any cash from it.  When the owner of the store arrived, he found that several packs of cigarettes were missing.  Police are investigating if this burglary is related to the break in at the Rattlers store on Blue Bell Road that occurred about 1 hour later Tuesday morning.  Those suspects were arrested by the Sealy police department and remain in the Austin County jail pending transport to Brenham.
