POLICE QUESTION THEFT SUSPECT

  

Brenham police say they have a confession and a suspect in a theft case discovered Wednesday morning.

Carey Counsil, the owner of Carey’s Window Tint, discovered theft from his business in the 400 block of South Market when he came to work Wednesday morning.  An undetermined amount of cash and several checks had been stolen. 

Police questioned a former employee who confessed to the crime but he has yet to be arrested.  Police reports say the former worker used a key to get inside the business.  The investigation continues.
