PREPARATIONS CONTINUE FOR NATIONAL NIGHT OUT

National Night Out smallTexas’ version of National Night Out is set for next Tuesday across the state and across Washington County.

The public is being urged to take part in this year’s activities, including the Brenham Police Department, Washington County Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement and emergency personnel out and about, attending neighborhood block parties from 6-9 p.m.

According to Brenham Police Department Cpl. Chris Jackson, this year’s theme is something truly Texan…

Authorities are encouraging all neighborhoods that plan to participate in National Night Out to use the Wild West theme in planning their events.

Jackson says National Night Out is still a valuable tool in the fight against crime…
