A 53-year old Houston man is headed to prison after his probation was revoked for an eight year old shooting death in Washignton County.

Jessie Lee Waller plead guilty in 2006 to a reduced charge of Manslaughter—a second degree felony—in the shooting death of 46-year old Jordan Ganz.

Ganz was shot during a gathering at a residence on Brown College Lane, just west of Brenham, on August 5th of 2006.

Waller was originally placed on 10 years probation after a plea bargain, but that probation was adjudicated Tuesday in 21st District Court.

Waller was sentenced to six years in prison by District Judge Carson Campbell.

Also in court Tuesday:

28-year old Craig Allen Marcum of Brenham was sentenced to four years in prison on two charges of Burglary of a Habitation, for cases that occurred in March of 2013.

24-year old Albert Garza of Navasota was placed on six years probation for a felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Garza was also fined $2000, ordered to perform 200 hours of community service and attend a drug offender education program.

And, 57-year old Sheila Lilly of Houston was sentenced to five years probation for a charge of Fraud.

Lilly was one of two people caught going door-to-door soliciting funds for a phony health care institution.

She was also fined $1500, ordered to perform 200 hours community service and ordered to attend drug and alcohol treatment.
