REWARD OFFERED IN MURDER INVESTIGATION

  

Brenham police are continuing their investigation and search for suspects in a December murder in the city.

Thirty-two year old Keith Obrian Coleman of Brenham was shot to death in the pre-dawn hours of  December fifth in the 1200 block of Garrett Street.  Police responded to the scene and found Coleman with two gunshot wounds.

They have yet to make any arrests in the case.

Coleman was able to tell officers that two African-American males had come into his home, touching off a confrontation that ended with the shooting.  The suspects fled.

Brenham police are asking for the public’s help.  Washington County Crime Stoppers is offering a $2000 reward on any information leading to the arrest and indictments in the shooting.  Your identity will be kept a secret.

  1. Why have these killers not been found? Is it because the victim was not a well known person like Ms. Voelkel that was murdered in 2011 and her killer arrested several months later. Or is this murder going to take 10 years to solve like Ms Hickey’s murder because she wasn’t well know either or worse yet the child killer that fled Brenham that hasn’t been caught yet because they released her and didn’t watch her when they knew she was a suspect to begin with? Where is the justice for uninfluentuel people of Washinhton County???
