ROBERTS CONTRACT RENEWED

  

Brenham City Manager Terry Roberts will continue in his position at least through January 31st, 2015.

          The City Council renewed Roberts’ contract and increased his salary by $2000 to $143,000 a year after an executive session at Thursday’s meeting

          Roberts’ began his stint as Brenham City Manager in February of 2001, four months after the death of C.J. Webster. 

          Roberts’ has worked as a city administrator in El Campo and San Marcos.  He is a graduate of Southwest Texas State(now Texas State).

  1. Looks like an extension of the “good ole’ boy plan”, people need to wake up and see what is happening at city hall. I do not understand giving him another raise, after taking more money out of the pockets of the citizens. We have to all figure out how we are going to make up the difference from everyone raising taxes, and appraisal rates this year, yet all the leeches on the public dole are given more. This is unacceptable, especially after all the boondoggles, and cost overruns of every project he has put his hands on.

  2. Big mistake after raising all these taxes he needs to go he has worn out his welcome and what is the council thinking giving him a $2000. Raise no other city employee gets that sounds like we need a new city council also
