SHERIFF’S FORUM AT ST. STANISLAUS’ 6 PM TONIGHT

  

Washington County Sheriff Otto Hanak says he wants to review with the public his first year in office, and keep the public informed about what the sheriff’s office is doing,  at a Sheriff’s Forum set for tonight ( Thursday) at St. Stanislaus’ Catholic Church in Chappell Hill. The sheriff is working with the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, Burton and Chappell Hill to present  a forum  to explore the affects of population growth, the influx of new residents and how it impacts law enforcemenT.

Clint Kolby, the Project Manager for the Brenham Economic Development Foundation will begin the program with a report on the population growth in the county and how this could affect law enforcement.

Sherriff Hanak will address the need to re-evaluate the priorities, duties and expenditures of Sheriff’s Office, making the best use of their human and monetary resources and the Sheriff’s office is providing the very best law enforcement  for the protection of the citizens.

The Sheriff’s Forum is tonight (Thursday) at 6 o'clock at the Community Center at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Chappell Hill.
