SOFTBALL AND SOCCER GAMES POSTPONED

Brenham Cubette softball that had been schedule for Monday night was cancelled due to rain.

The game will be rescheduled for a date to be determined.

The Cubettes’ season opener will now be Thursday at 11:30 when they host Clear Creek in the opener of the Lead Off Classic at Alumni Field.

That game can be heard on KWHI and www.kwhi.com beginning at 11:10.

Also cancelled has been Tuesday’s season opener for the Burton Lady Panthers softball team.

They had been scheduled to travel to North Zulch.  The Lady Panthers’ opener will instead be played Friday at 6:00 at Thorndale.

The Brenham Cubs and Cubettes soccer teams have also delayed their district openers.

The Cubs will face Sealy, Wednesday night at 7:00 at Cubs Stadium.

The Cubettes will travel to Sealy, Wednesday night for a 5:00 game.
