TEENS ARRESTED FOR BURGLARY

  

Two Washington County juveniles have been arrested and charged with a local burglary.

The two were arrested Tuesday afternoon, after sheriff’s deputies were called to a residence on Langhorn Road in Chappell Hill.

Authorities met the homeowner who heard someone exiting her home when she arrived just after 2:00.

According to the homeowner, her bedroom and closet had been ransacked.

Brenham Police using K9 officer “Ronny” discovered that one of the suspects had left a cap behind.

Ronny led authorities to a nearby residence where the 15- and 16-year olds were arrested.

The two will remain in the Rockdale Detention Center until their preliminary hearing.
