TEXANS HAVE 600 NEW LAWS TO FOLLOW
Texans now have 600 new laws to live by after the New Year was brought in earlier this week.
This was the work of the 83rd session of the Texas State Legislature, which met early last year.
One law affects the tanning salons. It is now illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to go to a tan salon.
There is one law that could help veterans. The Veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder are now able to use service animals in public settings such as hotels and restaurants.
Your mixed drink will now be more expensive. The lawmakers added a sales tax to cocktails served in the state. A drink now has a 8.25 percent sales tax. +
