TEXAS RANGER: SEXUAL ASSAULT ALLEGATIONS FALSE

  

A Department of Public Safety investigation into allegations of a sexual assault of a female Washington County Jail inmate has contradicted the claims.

According to DPS Corporal Jimmy Morgan, Texas Ranger Jeff Wolf completed his investigation and says there’s “overwhelming evidence” that the allegations were false.

Wolf went on to say he expects charges to be filed against the woman who made the claims.

A 22-year old female inmate claimed she was sexually assaulted in her cell by a guard. The woman had been arrested earlier that day for failure to pay a fine for simple assault. 

The investigation has been turned over to the Washington County District Attorney’s Office for review, and the former inmate could face a new charge of Filing a False Report to a Peace Officer, a class B misdemeanor.
