TRAFFIC STOP BRINGS SECOND TRIP TO COUNTY JAIL
A Brenham man made a second trip to the County Jail in less than a week after he was arrested yesterday morning.
The Brenham Police report that after a traffic stop, Ernest James Dever Jr. age 25 of Brenham, was found to be in possession of less than 2 ounces of a substance that field tested positive as marijuana. He was also charged with failure to display driver’s license and failure to make a change of address on his driver’s license. Dever had just been arrested by the Brenham Police Departments Fusion Unit over the weekend on and outstanding warrant for burglary of a habitation and also for drug possession.
