TWO ARRESTED AT RUDDER HIGH SCHOOL

  

Two 18-year-old Rudder High School students are facing multiple charges after police found marijuana inside a car in the parking lot.

18-year odl Jaylum Jamal McGruder, was arrested after Rudder High School administrators found marijuana inside his car.

According to the arrest report, McGruder tried to grab the marijuana and eat it after the school's principal found it inside his car.

He was arrested and handcuffed while the officials waited for Bryan Police officers to get there.

Officers say that, when they arrived, another student was standing next to McGruder. When an officer asked 18-year old Brandon Keshaun Sandle to identify himself, he told the officer that he didn't have to talk to him. According to the report, when the officer asked again, Sandle threw his ID and cursed at the officer.

The report says that the officer tried to stop Sandle from leaving. He resisted and the two got into a scuffle.

In the process of being arrested, Sandle grabbed the officers left hand and pulled stitches from a previous injury out.

Sandle was arrested and charged with Assault on a Public Servant, Resisting Arrest and cited for his language.

McGruder was charged with Possession of Marijuana in a Drug Free Zone.
