  1. Thankfully no one was seriously injured in this accident. In regards to the negative comments towards the police, as a member of the citizens on patrol, I have been out there during the wee hours of the morning when most everyone else is safe at home in there beds. I have witnessed these type of searches and it can be pretty hairy and dangerous. These men and women have major multi tasking duties during one of these events. Please try to imagine walking in their shoes for one hour, much less that day after day.

  2. Mr. Hutson, do you know that the POLICE do not write what is put on the news. The POLICE tell the news crew what had taken place and then the news crew puts in the news no matter if its right or wrong. Its not hard for people to mess something up or turn a story around on accident, we all are human aren’t we? Also how are you going to give a citation to a person that is opperating an emergency vehicle with the emergency lights on in a stressful situation when they are trying to protect the citizens of this community. Only if you put up with half of the stuff our local law enforcement officers and other officers nation wide put up with everyday, the long time spend away from your families, the stressfull situation that they go through day to day and still come back to work to do it all over again. Having to work every holiday and not be at home with your families. Have to face fear not run from it. Our law enforcement officers are the thin blue line that keeps this community safer then most of our surrounding cities and counties. If i had one wish it would be that more people respected the job that they do instead of talk about them in a negative manor.

  3. I’ve seen the pictures of both vehicles and I don’t think I would term that as a broadside, and based on the impact area of the tahoe is was more like the charger hit the tahoe not the other way around…but hey the police are going to write this one they way they want to anyway.
