‘PUTT2CURE’ RAISES FUNDS FOR MS SOCIETY

  

Over $7000 was raised at last night’s Putt2Cure MS mini-golf tournament.

The annual event, held at Horseshoe Junction in Brenham, raises funds for Michael Brinkmeyer’s efforts on behalf of the MS-150 and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

According to Brinkmeyer, at total of $7060 was raised in the event that featured participants putting with a sledge hammer, pool noodles, a wisk broom and putting while handcuffed and twirling a hulahoop.

The winning team for 2018 was The Fightin’ Don Ho’s with Delbert Boeker; Tommy Lange; Nathan Winkelmann and The Sports Doc.  Boeker was the top adult golfer and Ty Dippel was the top youth.

The KTEX-106 team of Traiboss Troy and Holly Ryder won the media challenge, defeating the KWHI team of Craig Montana and Blake Hickerson.
