13 SENTENCED IN DISTRICT COURT
13 people plead guilty and were sentenced in District court this week by Judge Carson Campbell. They include:
Benjamin Villarreal, Jr., 37, of Brenham was sentenced to 7 years in prison for 2 counts of Indecency with a Child Sexual Contact that occurred in October 2014.
Dikari Blacklock, 32, of Dallas was sentenced to 5 years in prison for Theft from an ATM. Blacklock was arrested for the June 16th theft at a local convenience store. Blacklock reportedly walked into the store, assaulted a clerk, and made off with a large amount of cash from the ATM machine.
Michael Duane Jenkins, II, 41 of Austin had his probation adjudicated from a 2006 Possession of Controlled Substance offence and was sentenced to 4 years in prison.
Justin James Rogers, 31 of Brenham was sentenced to 4 years in prison Assault of Family Member by Restricting Breath or Circulation with a Previous Conviction from September of this year.
Austin Jackson, 21 of Brenham was sentenced to 3 years in prison for Burglary of Habitation that occurred in January of this year. He also must pay $4000 in restitution. Jackson was arrested in March after an investigation by the Washington County Sheriff’s office.
Garrett Wade Spears, 20 of Brenham was sentenced to 2 years in prison for Assault of a Family Member by Impede Breath or Circulation that occurred in November. He was arrested by Brenham Police after a person calling 911 said her boyfriend had choked and assaulted her. Spears also had a criminal trespass warning for the residence.
Anthony Wayne Henry, 31 of Industry was sentenced to 550 days in State Jail for Possession Controlled Substance from March of 2014.
Justin Wayne Brauner, 39 of Humble had his probation adjudicated from a Credit Card Abbuse case and was sentenced to 435 days in State Jail. He also must pay a $500 fine and $748 in restitution.
Tredarien Daion Shepard,18 of Brenham was sentenced to 10 months in State Jail for Engaging Organized Criminal Activity from March of this year.
Brian Patrick Oleary, 32 of Brenham was sentenced to 8 years deferred adjudication probation for Possession of Controlled Substance from April of this year. He also must pay a $1500 fine and perform 200 hours community service.
Tracy Heard, 38 of Brenham was sentenced to 5 years deferred adjudication probation for forgery of the elderly. She must also pay $500 in restitution and perform 240 hours of community service.
Dawn Patricia Lucker, 46 of Willis was sentenced to 5 years deferred adjudication probation for Tampering with Physical Evidence from March of 2014. She also must pay a $2000 fine and perform 200 hours of community service. Lucker was a passenger in a car stopped by Brenham Police. She was arrested after a bag containing methamphetamines and cocaine was located on the roadway next to her during the traffic stop.
Devonta Kinney, 20 of Ft. Worth was sentenced to 5 years deferred adjudication probation for Evading Arrest Detention with Vehicle from August of this year. He also must pay a $1500 fine and perform 150 hours of community service.
