The entertainment lineup for the 2014 Washington County Fair has a distinct Texas flavor.

The Fair entertainment committee has released the lineup for this year’s fair and the list is loaded with artists from right here in the Lone Star State.

The 146th edition of the oldest county fair in Texas kicks off Saturday, September 13th with Josh Grider opening up for Wade Bowen.

Sunday, September 14th will feature the Grateful Geezers—a band that plays a wide variety of Texas music styles including: blues, R&B, rock and jazz.

Tuesday the 16th is Tejano Night, while Wednesday is Christian Music night.

Thursday will feature a trio of Texas bands including:  1100 Springs, The Tejas Brothers and Two Tons of Steel.

Friday night the 19th will see Blacktop Gypsy opening up for the legendary Robert Earl Keen.

And, Saturday the 20th, the closing night of the fair will see Texas Music icon Gary P. Nunn opening for the largely popular Randy Rogers Band.

The 146th Washington County Fair begins its 8-day run Saturday, September 13th and continues through Saturday the 20th.

As always, KWHI will have extensive coverage live from the fairgrounds in Brenham.
