16 ADDITIONAL WARRANTS ISSUED IN SIGMA NU INVESTIGATION

  

College Station police have issued 16 additional warrants for Sigma Nu Fraternity members who were at the fraternity’s house during a party that resulted in the death of Anton Gridnev.

The warrants issued are for six new fraternity members, not the four that were placed in custody previously.

The warrants stem from drug and drug paraphernalia discovered during a search of the Sigma Nu Fraternity house during the investigation. The warrants include Possession of Marijuana and the Manufacturing and Delivery of a Controlled Substance. The names of the men will not be released until they are formally charged.

The investigation into the death of Anton Gridnev is still active. Gridnev was found unconscious and unresponsive by First Responders after fraternity members waited 31 minutes to call 911. Witnesses at the house said that he was celebrating his birthday and he may have ingested ecstasy, hydrocodone, Xanax, and possibly heroin.
